Lost in thought

that’s all that’s left

and an aromatic floral scent

my mind is in a dreamy trance

life has given me one more chance!

Yesterday my life was a mess

I walked away from a

cruel game of chess

He cannot hurt me anymore

the war ended

when I closed the door!

So here I am

lost in thought

healing my soul to gain control

and live a life that I deserve

Yes I have the power to love thyself!

Mystical paths and illusions

Trees casting shadows in rainbow colors

I walk the path and feel the power

a magical aura amongst the flowers

I hear a whisper moving through the bushes

rub my eyes and see two fairies

laughing and hugging

It can’t be real, I must be dreaming!

Oh dear I see an elf being dragged

kicking and screaming !

It is after all an ‘Enchanted Forest’

that’s when I see squirrels

dancing and singing!

My feet have frozen

I cannot move!

I look up and see the sun & moon

I must leave quickly, it’s getting late

and there are all the fairies

holding torches lighting up my way!

The clouds are gathering

it looks like it’s going to rain

don’t be so stubborn

we will come back tomorrow

to run & play

I’m not going to leave you all alone

your friends have gathered

to send you home

Woody has spotted something

coming this way

and Bugs the rabbit is lying low,

he seems afraid!

I’m calling your mom

and she can teach you

how dangerous it is to run away!
